It's been revealed that HARDY will set the ball rolling for the 2023 Carolina Country Music Fest. The festival organisers have booked him as the Thursday Night Kick-Off Concert headliner, which will be presented by McDonald's.
The country music party-starter will be joined by special guest, Tracy Lawrence. Fans will be hoping that they join forces at the festival to play their Jake Owen-assisted Hixtape Vol. 1 hit, ‘What They Make Backroads For’.
HARDY possesses an unrivalled array of rowdy Friday night anthems, with both of his collaborative Hixtape projects being jam-packed with backroad, beer-chugging bangers.
A number of his more recent tracks, such as ‘JACK’, ‘TRUCK BED’ and ‘SOLD OUT’, pursue a rockier route to his previous releases. These high-octane songs will undoubtedly help to fuel an electric opening-night atmosphere for Carolina Country Music Fest 2023.
HARDY is gearing up to release his sophomore solo album, the mockingbird & THE CROW, which will continue to explore uncharted sonic territory. He recently performed one of the album's lead singles, ‘wait in the truck’, with Lainey Wilson at the 2022 CMA Awards.
Headlining the main festival dates at Carolina Country Music Fest 2023 will be a star-studded cast that includes Miranda Lambert, Morgan Wallen, Brooks & Dunn and more. Scotty McCreery, Ernest, Whiskey Myers and a number of others have also been added to the line-up.
Attendees at the 2022 instalment of the festival saw an impressive list of performers, with Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean and Keith Urban all headlining. With the introduction of HARDY and Tracy Lawrence, the 2023 edition of the festival seems as though it will be even more of a spectacle.
